USC decides, based on your application, whether or not to give you an interview for Trustee or Presidential scholarships. You have to apply before the December deadline to be considered for these scholarships. Everyone who applies before this deadline is automatically considered for an interview.

Were you a national merit finalist? If so, then you automatically, without an interview, recieve a Presidential scholarship.

cc411: my psat score was 217. not great but 99 percentile here in arizona so should be good enough for national merit finalist. cowtipper1 i am aware that NMF get half tuition, but theres a bit difference between full tuition and only half. without the trustees, i dont think i could afford to go to USC...

im most curious about if i will at least be GIVEN an interview. if i am given one, i believe that my good people skills should at least give me a good chance at the scholarship. im not sure how competitive it is (im guessing it is very competitive cause only 100 get it out of 4000 or so freshman). i believe the interview will set me apart from those who have similar stats as me, as it will allow my personality to shine through. so anyone have feedback on what my chances are for getting at least a trustees interview?

no need for sorry cowtipper thanks alot for your input. hope i didnt come off as being unappreciative of u telling me something that i already knew ;)
