Today, my status changed to "We have reviewed your application. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made" from "We have received all materials. We will notify you by postal mail after a decision has been made."

In addition, my unofficial transcript loaded! Although I know well it's too early to celebrate (without the purple envelope in my hands), I was too excited to see my UW student ID that I couldn't help but jump with joy.

So, does the unofficial transcript indicate that I have been accepted?
Wow. This has been the longest two months-I applied on November 30 :) haha.

CONGRATS! Yes I believe so! I haven’t heard of anyone getting an unofficial transcript who did not get accepted. You should receive a letter in a few days. I have a few friends whose applications have been reviewed, but no unofficial transcript. Their decisions are probably still ‘on hold,’ so I think I can safely say that you’re in! :)

I didn’t apply for honors-in my perspective, the honors application seemed too arduous considering the fact that there is not much difference between the regular UW system and the honors system. I will most likely be attending UW next year due to financial reasons. You?

I will be attending UW (got into the Honors program yay) next year for sure. I sent in my payment and stuff, so yeah… haha. I guess for me, the honors program stood out since I’m planning on going into the medical field. a 30 person class for biology weighs a lot for my learning experience as opposed to a 700 person seminar. However, if I were to go for business, I wouldn’t apply for Honors, I think. Haha

Thus it is official: I received the BIG envelope today and I’m overly ecstatic!

For those who are still curiously waiting, here is a summary about how my admission process went about:

November 30-applied to UW-Seattle (no honors)
January 11-status read something similar to: “all materials were reviewed and when a decision was made a postal mail was to be sent.”
February 2-unofficial transcript loaded, status changed to “a final decision has been made”
February 3-received acceptance letter

I know it is a long wait, but do wait patiently :)

My official transcript loaded and status changed yesterday (February 3rd) so I’m hoping to get my acceptance letter in the mail either today or tomorrow.
