Try again?

I applied to Boston University as a transfer from a community college back in the beginning of October. I was, unfortunately, denied. I was accepted into Suffolk University, but I find myself still wanting to give BU another shot. I have a 3.8 GPA from my community college, and I thought that would be good enough. I know the decision weighs on more than that alone, though. I've never really done any sort of extracurricular activities, and I was also not too big on school clubs/organizations. Are these things lowering my chances at a school such as this? Should I apply again, or would I be wasting my time?

You might approach the President of your community college and ask "why do you think BU didn't think this was good enough?" I know of one instance where a community college president called a college and the student was accepted. On the other hand you might learn that the course work wasn't right or that ten people scored above you and applied. Good luck.
