I graduated high school in 2012 and have yet to go to college. I took some classes at the local community college, however, they do not offer my degree. My parents make above average so I don't qualify for pell grants or much financial aid and we have a lot of bills making our efc of $15,000 impossible. I am hoping to go back this coming spring, but I am about $2,000 short. Does anyone know where I can get a grant or something? I have tried loan after loan, but was denied for all. Not enough credit history on my part, cosigners that are willing aren't eligible. I have also been applying for numerous scholarships, but have yet to get one. It is so close, but still a little high. I am going to school out of state, however the tuition is the same in state as well as out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

How much can your parents pay?
You will be able to get a $5,500 Stafford loan without co signer.
If I was in your situation, I would get as many courses at the community college as possible, then transfer to an instate school, some may be adding scholarships in your field of interest.
