Trying to add colleges to my list

@yikesyikesyikes

Here’s a simple list:

  • In the northeast
  • Located in/near an urban area (big city is a plus)
  • Good STEM program/facilities

I’m really just trying to find safeties at this point. Also, can anyone recommend which SUNYs to look at?

If you are willing to go as far south as GW and UMD, I would add Georgetown (Reach) and JHU (Reach) as well.

I think you are shoo-in for Maryland (especially if you are not applying for a LEP). I also thing you have a great shot at GW. These two are basically safeties if you get a 34/35. Boston U with such a score becomes a low match. You could add another safety (like Towson) if you’d like as well.

@yikesyikesyikes

My ACT is a 34 :slight_smile:

I’ll definitely look into Towson, thanks! What is a LEP though?

@shkodra14

if finances are a concern then 34 ACT + 4.5 W GPA = full-tuition + free housing at UAH

Here’s a simple list:

  • In the northeast --- NOPE
  • Located in/near an urban area (big city is a plus) --- Yes
  • Good STEM program/facilities --- Yes

LEP = Limited Enrollment Program

@Wien2NC

I’m really wondering why no colleges in the northeast offer any sort of automatic scholarships… I just don’t think I could ever be happy in Alabama. No family for many many driving hours around, no fellow Albanians, hot weather different social atmosphere… the list goes on. :frowning:
