Trying to become a phramacist

Hey guys, I'm currently a junior and trying to become a pharmacist. I'm hoping to get into Rutgers and enroll in their pharmacy school and I'm just here to post my course load and stats to get opinions on whether I have a chance or not.

-Currently my gpa is around a 3.4-3.5
-Didn't take the SATs yet, probably taking them in 4-5 months from now
-Freshman year took 1 honors which was bio h instead of the regular science which was general sci
-Sophomore year I couldn't go into chem h due to math issues so I took chem regular along with honors math and honors history so that's two honors
-In junior year I dropped history honors because I was doing terrible in it and got a final grade of a C, I moved up to english honors, I continued to regular physics, and I tried pre calc honors but I ended up dropping it.

The reason being is the first test I got a 32%, the second quiz I got a 54% and the performance assessment I got an 82% and I did that assessment working with 3 other people. My average at that point was a 50% average so I obviously failed both the major assessments and was down right failing the class. I was nervous about getting a D or C for the quarter so I dropped down to regular pre calc and I'm now getting an 100 average

This year I'm aiming for at least a 3.8 gpa, it shouldn't be difficult; O'm only in 1 honors class. I'm also aiming for at least a 2000 SAT score... hopefully. My PSATs are coming up in just a week and a half which I've been preparing for alot.

Next year I plan on taking AP bio, AP english and if I could possibly handle it AP calc AB, MAYBE.

Now given this information, could I make it into Rutgers and it's Pharmacy program?

This belongs in the chances thread…

Your last comment was racist.

dude, you can’t get into rutgers pharm, sorry. they have only 200 seats and you have to have much higher stats. only 1 honors class this year… aiming for a 2000 on the SAT… you need a lot of AP and Honors classes and at least a 2200 SAT.

This belongs in the Chances forum, but nritya is right. Rutgers pharmacy is surprisingly competitive, and I can’t see you getting in with only 4 honors classes and no APs.

Are you from East Brunswick? ■■■■■
