Trying to choose a learning community

Hi, would anyone be able to help me decide between two learning communities? I'm trying to decide between the Whitman Learning Community which is in Dellplain and the Outdoor Pursuits Learning Community which is in Haven Hall. I also plan on doing club rugby and joining a fraternity.

Can anyone tell me about the dorms, what the LC's are like, and if I'll still have time to do other extracurriculars if I'm involved with the learning communities?

You can be as involved as you like in the learning community so there’s still time to do other extra curriculars. The Whitman one does have a few required things (I think it was a whitewater rafting trip the year I knew about it). With the Whitman one, you are in the same core course as all of the other people on your floor - which makes it easy to do group projects together. Delplain is also a great location in terms of being close to the center of campus. Don’t know much about the other choice, but it is nice to live with a large group of people that you have at least one thing in common with.
