so i'm trying to cut down my list of colleges to apply to. out of this list i only want to apply to 2 or 3. tell me about academics, but also tell me about day-to-day life on these campuses. what are the professors like? what are the students like?

much thanks for any help

the list is:
Northwestern
UPenn
Duke
Notre Dame
U Delaware
Drexel
RPI

I’m assuming you have a longer list. Perhaps you can show that list too. It may help us tell you which ones will suite you best.

Academically, they are all good (some more than others). However, U Penn, Duke, Notre Dame will probably be more stressful in that area (due to competition). U Delaware will be a standard public school experience. I’ve heard Drexel students are great and very friendly.

RPI is a little nerdy.

Delaware is going to be your standard college experience.

Duke, Penn, and Notre Dame are full of overachievers. Social scenes revolve around drinking.

Northwestern is like the others, but without the drinking. Most of the time they are too busy to have fun.
