Well, I'm a senior and my major is history (3.6pga). I have one minor locked in, which is Chinese. My other two that I still have to complete is Japanese and political science. I really suffered for two years when I took Chinese. I really enjoyed it, but the workload was insane. Japanese has been the same story, its very demanding. Ive taken japanese 101 and 102, I need 201 and 202 to get the minor. I'm going to stick with political science because the classes are a breeze. I'm just not sure if I want to suffer through another year of language classes.

My plan after graduation is to spend two years in China and Japan each. I want to become fluent enough to use it in a good quality job. Either in the government(embassy, foreign relation), Business, intelligence officer in the military, maybe the FBI or CIA after gaining experience. I'm not sure if the minor really matters if I'm going to learn the language in the country anyways. If I didnt take Japanese that would free up two classes and make my life sooo much easier, but on the other hand I'm halfway through it.

I would like some opinions on the matter.

Thanks, much appreciated
