Bump! This will be really helpful to try to figure out our strategy!

What major? A match can be cine tried as a school you can afford- are finances an issue? Do you want a Catholic school? Looks like East Coast/ Carolinas and not too big? Have you looked at Virginia? Richmond and W& M look like two to consider though W& M is a tough one. Do you have safety schools set?

We have safeties and we have reaches. Just trying to find some solid matches. She’d like to stay in the southeast. Really likes LAC’s or small universities. I would consider W&M and Richmond High Matches/Low Reaches. We are looking for solid Matches or Low Matches…

Of course $ is an issue, but we have that issue covered with the safeties.

W&M: Match
Richmond: Match
Furman: Safety
High Point: Safety
Elon: Safety
College of Charleston: Safety
Xavier: Safety

Finding matches at 4.0/33 is a hard decision to make…

Yea. We want to eventually have 3 reaches, 4-5 matches and 1-2 safeties.

How about Notre Dame and Georgetown? Emory and Oxford?

What state are you in? With those stats the flagship state schools seem like a shoe in. As a father of a son who just finished the process (and is making his decision this month) feel free to PM me if you have questions. Best of luck.

UMich, Northeastern, Northwestern, Drexel, WashU, maybe Cornell as a reach?

We’re in Tennessee. She has less than zero interest in UT.
