<p>thanks scorp, but atown, it's imperative that you put SOME studying into EACH test. they are both quite different so it's better to understand BOTH tests.</p>
<p>i wouldn't be too sure that some of these books are as helpful as you think they might be. about 8 or so of my friends used books like that, legitimately did all the work, and had no change in their scores. i did a lot of SAT prep which helped me a lot on that test, but for some reason i decided not to do anything for the ACT and i did really well. but it can't hurt to try the books and stuff, i'm just saying don't expect to do really well just because you did a lot of prep.</p>
<p>yeah but there must be something to help raise the scores- im taking the ACT for the first in OCT, but if i dont do well i hope there is at least something i could do to raise my score</p>
