Trying to get a W a year later...

I'm trying to transfer to SUNY Potsdam, and I had attended SUNY Albany as my first college. I did good the first semester, I got a 2.7 GPA at albany then was pretty sick the entirety of my Spring semester, which caused me to not attend my classes. I dropped 2, got a D- in one of them, and thought i could truck through the 4th but i failed. I forgot to drop the 4th class, destroying my GPA. Now my cumulative GPA is 1.7 and Potsdam requires transfer students to have a 2.0 gpa at all previous schools. And trust me, I went to the doctors multiple times at albany, and they are REAL strict on attendance, like you'd have to be hospitalized to get an excused absence. I'm now attending community college near my home and doing well.

The doctors weren't very helpful either, but I now think I was infected with e coli, and shoulda gotten tested for that but I didn't think of ecoli then, neither did my doctor.

So basically, do you think Albany will let me drop that course that I got an F in now? I know its a longshot, but maybe considering the circumstances?

Call your school and ask. None of us have the answer.
