I just applied EA for first consideration. They said on the site that their middle range stats were 32-34 ACT, 1420-1510 SAT Reading/Math, and 3% class rank. I got a 31 on ACT, 1370 SAT Reading/Math (on my single highest composite test. If they superscored, my reading/math would be 1400), and my class rank is 4.2%. I'm taking the ACT and SAT again to try to improve and sending in those scores for the Honors program. Also, my school has never weighted grades, which is a HUGE factor in our class rank. Will admissions take this into consideration? Now including my senior year, I've enrolled in 12 AP classes and I'm rank 18/428. About half the students in the top 10 have never taken an AP class, and the #1 has only taken 3 (the majority of her classes were free 100% band classes). For the first time, my school is working on weighting grades, which should shift students around a lot and I'm sure that my rank will improve. However it won't be done for another few months. Will I be able to appeal or anything for scholarships by then? Do you think I have a shot at Honors?
