I screwed up in highschool so I went to CC. Now I screwed up at CC. Can't graduate because I don't have a required class (communications) for a biology major. Been through bad stuff during the time. Already applied for transfer for this coming fall. Will they still accept me right now if I am going to finish the classes in summer? Do I need to send them an email saying that my graduation date changed? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
First semester - 4.0

Fourth semester (now) - going to be 4.0 (but only 11 credits)
Will end up with 3.24 GPA after this semester
SAT #1: (10/07 date taken) - 660 Reading 780 Math 600 Writing
SAT #2: (03/07 date taken) - 590 Readign 690 Math 610 Writing

It looks like you’re starting to do bad which is definitely not something VCU wants to see. You should definitely contact an undergrad admissions counselor and ask, because the more information you can let them know about you, the better.

Your SAT scores are strong though, so there’s always hope. Best of luck!

Thanks for the reply.

Apply next spring semester after you get a good GPA in your FAll 11 semester. Colleges DON’T want to see a falling trend.

The problem with that is i don’t need to take any classes in the fall. I’ll be finished with my associate’s degree, at the latest, by summer. None of my counselors at NVCC know what to do so I went ahead and sent the admissions office an email. I have not heard back yet. If anyone else has any more thoughts on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

NOVA doesnt have any agreements with VCU?

They do, but I believe I am not qualified for the guaranteed agreement. I’ll double check to make sure.
