Hey, Im currently attenting a CCC and am trying to make a list of schools which I will apply to this fall......by the time I finish with all planned courses I should have completed close to 60 units with a 3.5ish gpa, I don't have that many EC's (club treasurer, some work experience in family business)....my question would be, what sort of schools (excluding UC's) would I have a chance at?

Edit: I will be majoring in Marketing(although also considering International Relations)....

Brown and Penn have excellent IR programs, thought your lack of ECs might hurt your chances.
These schools are the best for marketing (US News and World Report rankings):
1. U Penn (Wharton)
2. U of Michigan
3. U of California, Berkeley (Haas)
4. U Texas, Austin (McCombs)
5. U of NC, Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler)

Apart from these, other schools with excellent business programs (and not cut-thorat admissions) are:

U of Virginia
Indiana U - Bloomington
U of South California
U of Wisconsin - Madison
Emory
U of Minnesota - Twin Cities
Ohio State U - Columbus
Arizona State
U of Notre Dame
Boston College
WUSL
Penn State
Purdue

the easiest on that list to get into is probably smu or ut. dallas is like the #1 city in the country to live in for business right now so its worth checking out.

agreed. if you were from a top 20 with a 3.5 you may have a chance to the top 10 schools, but from a ccc it would be incredibly tough esp. without ECs. Hence you should look to second-tier schools which are fine schools as well, such as SMU or OSU.

you might have IU as a safety, but you'd have to apply probably to CAS and transfer to kelley (the b school) once you're there. Kelley was just ranked #10 in business week for business undergrad, although i go to iu/went to iu and i didn't really like it.

I don't know much about CCC and their transfer program, but aren't like UCSD, UCI, UCR, and UCSB pretty easy to transfer into from CCC and also don't they for the most part have good business programs?

Update: After completing the first summer session (there is 3) my GPA is now 3.727.......does that increase my chances much? What should I be aiming for?

Yup, I have taken some.......But, that is exactly why I need to complete a list(of schools) to see what courses im missing, if any, for each one...

"true but he can get into ut-austin, smu, iu, miami, and possibly unc-ch"

No, no way, ain't happening. McCombs at UTA is about as crazy as Haas at Berkeley when it comes to OOS applicants trying to transfer in. Check their stats...they took 10 OOS applicants last year and 70 in state - robertee can't get into McCombs.

However, the rest look good, but remember that UNC-CH requires you spend one semester just in "college" before getting into the business school.
