Trying to predict...because I hate waiting.

I still don't Know if I can afford Seattle U.
So far I know for sure-
EFC-0
Independent
Fed Pell-5500
Scholarship-7000
So far only 12500 is set in stone for about a 40,000 COA
Any other predicts and Do I have hope?
And how much can I receive with the SEOG?
Other aid they give is need based grants, loans, work study.
also lets say I attend there for a year, since I am an independent will I get residency and be able to receive state scholarships?

I emailed the school and they said they will begin reviewing my FA info. within the next two weeks, I hope they are generous, even though I know they don't meet full need.

Will you be entering as a freshmen?
Also Seattle University is a private school, residency status does not matter.

When you’re asking about state scholarships…are you talking about some kind of special grants that the state of Washington has? I don’t know if Washington has a program like Cal Grants in Calif.

However, it will be obvious that you moved to Washington to go to school, so unless that state has some kind of lenient residency policy, it will be hard. However, since you’re an independent, maybe it would be easier. Will you be living there “year round”?

If Washington doesn’t have a Cal-grant-like aid program that you’d ever qualify for, then isn’t it cheaper for you to go to school in California?

By any chance, are you a URM? That may help with your FA package. SU may want to help its diversity numbers. :)

I know WA does because SU includes it in their FA package.
I’m Hispanic, but I am a girl and They have a lot of girls lol.

I could always go to a csu, but the one I want to go to is super packed because of budget cuts and I heard it’s hard to get the classes you need.
The UC’s, I might get accepted to one, but idk.
My teachers even encourage us in-state is not the way to go lol. (Well you know if it is reasonable to go out of state)

Aww I did some research and I’d have to live there for a whole year consecutively…forget that lol.
