Hi, I am currently in my sophomore year of college. My first semester coming out of High School I attended Rutgers Newark and received a GPA of 2.75 because I failed one class(which I should have dropped) because the professor was terrible. After that I started to attend Community College where I now have a 3.84 GPA from spring '09 and fall '09 collectively. I am going to spend one more semester at community college where my GPA shouldnt really drop below a 3.75. So I was wondering what my chances were of getting into Rutgers New Brunswick were under my current circumstances. I'm not sure if my good grades at community college will outweigh my bad semester at Rutgers Newark. Any thoughts?

With that GPA you should be fine. I’m applying from Bergen Community with a 3.34. I’m an officer in the business and finance club so I’m hoping that helps. I’ll be finishing up my AS in the spring.

I had about a 3.3 from Bergen CC also and transferred all 60 credits.
