Trying To Transfer To A&M

Hello all and good morning,

I recently applied to transfer to Texas A&M (Nutrition Science Major) from Blinn College this past fall. My application was put on hold until spring grades were posted. My question on this is, "What are my chances of being accepted if after the grades posted my GPA went below the 2.5 mark?"

Because A&M does not accept courses that I made A's in, my GPA is like .10+ or so difference. My Blinn GPA is above 2.5, but A&M and Blinn are totally different.

The head of the department, Dr.Capehart seemed to like me and felt I had a shot even with my low GPA. Now that this has happened, I feel a lot worse. Does anyone know if they will automatically decline me or they can still give me a shot. (I will have a 2.47 GPA if the GPA calculator is correct)

Thanks for the help :).

Sorry I was not able to edit again: I was stricken with an illness last semester as well as this past semester. I had to drop my Chem course (which I retook this past Spring). I emailed him about that as well, but I guess they are very busy atm. I also meant to say I applied this past spring not fall.
