trying to transfer with bad academic standing

Ok so I spent my first year and a half of college at St. John's university. my GPA was a 1.97but my GPA wasn't the reason why I had to withdraw. There was a bit of mix up with financial Aid and my loan I wasn't able to attend this spring semester. I decided to take a full course load at my local community college. So far I'm really doing really good, but I would like to graduate from a 4 year. So my question is if my CC GPA combined with my St johns GPA turns out pretty good will schools over look me because of my first year and a half of school?

SN. I plan on spending maybe one or two more semesters at this community college

The transfer advisers at your comm college will be able to present you with good options – that’s their job. GL to you.
