trying to transfer

<p>a couple of months ago i got a letter from Albany that said :</p>

<p>The university admissions committee has recently completed an initial review of your application for transfer admissions. at this time we can not make a positive decision for your admissions at this time and feel like a review in your work in progress may help.</p>

<p>that what the first couple of lines said, has anyone else got this letter?</p>

<p>are they basically saying that your grades are good enough to get in but we want to see more of your college grades to see that they werent a fluke?</p>

<p>any thoughts?</p>

<p>I’m assuming you are trying to transfer before you have 60 credits. If you don’t have enough credits, and you’ve done crappy in HS, they have to lean towards the HS grades. But based on the grades in college classes you have, it’s looking promising. So in other words, keep doing what you’re doing and apply again later.</p>
