I got the confirmation from UCAS today and it said:

additional information about your choices is shown immediately below:

the following admissions test is required for entry on this course: TSA

I looked it up and I kind of understand what it is, but... when do I take it? before admission results or after???

..and how important is it/how hard is it/....I am confused, this is the first time I'm hearing of this

This is TSA (Thinking Skills Assesment). It’s required for certain subjects (as noted on the Oxford website).
[Oxford Thinking Skills Assessment Home | University Admissions Tests from Cambridge Assessment](<a href=“http://www.admissionstests.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/adt/tsaoxford]Oxford ”>http://www.admissionstests.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/adt/tsaoxford )

According to this page

[Select A Centre | University Admissions Tests from Cambridge Assessment](<a href=“http://www.admissionstests.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/adt/findcentre/selectcentre?country=US&qualification=1814&submit=Find+A+Centre]Select ”>http://www.admissionstests.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/adt/findcentre/selectcentre?country=US&qualification=1814&submit=Find+A+Centre )

You can take the test in the US in California, Florida, Mass., Texas and Illinois. SO only 5 centres in the whole country. I hope you live near one.

you can take it at your school. follow the instructions on the site to register your site as a center and then register yourself as a candidate at that center. i’ve done it, hopefully everything works as planned…

good luck!
