<p>hi guys! i’m a bit late but 2 questions:
a) how significantly will lacking subject tests hurt my chances of getting into this program, especially if my SAT/PSAT scores aren’t so impressive (2250,222)
b) does anyone have any idea if first round cuts are actually over?</p>
<p>I emailed Clark and they said they’re done with the first review of applications and progressing through the second round. I’m not sure if actual decisions have been made yet.</p>

<p>@alafin I didn’t have my subject test scores either. My recommendations and essays are the only “impressive” (impressive in my perspective, because I never put so much work on an application before) parts of my application. </p>
<p>I got rejected by SSP, so I don’t have much hope for Clark Scholars where so many people are competing for only 12 spots.</p>

Hey! I had the same problem. I emailed Garcia with the intent of attending. If I get accepted by a more prestigious summer program, however, I’ll reconsider and email them saying that I can’t make it anymore. Good luck!</p>

<p>I never received an email about being cut and I had way less SAT scores than the people have posted here, so I would have likely been cut first round.</p>
<p>Well the email said “The first review is complete and the 2nd review is in progress. You will receive an email when the decisions have been made.” so I’m not sure what that means</p>

<p>Ive mailed them asking them when the decision will be out!!! its already mid april! CANNOT WAIT A MIN LONGER!!! HELP!! </p>
<p>It looks like the web site says, “Final selection for the 2014 Clark Scholars Program will be made sometime in early May.”</p>
<p>Last year the first rejection came out April 29th according to the old threads</p>
