ttu vs ut austin

so, i'm not that great at making friends, and i'm not good with large groups

so would the texas tech atmosphere be better? or ut austin?
and i'm not planning on joining a frat, is that a good idea or a bad?

It’s good idea …

They’re similar atmospheres. Both big football schools, obviously UT is a bit bigger. Ultimately I would that you should make your decision based on academics. Overall, that’s UT, but TTU has some great programs as well.

Maybe you should broaden your list. Have you looked at Austin College or Southwestern University? Both offer a lot of merit and need based aid which brings the actual cost for many students very close to UT. They have very small classes, no frats, friendly and warm profs and students, and a welcoming atmosphere. Southwestern’s career placement office gets national accolades, and my neighbor who just graduated from Austin a couple of years ago says most of her classmates are in grad school now.

What about a smaller school? What don’t you like about school? Major?
