TUFTS and International Relations

How do you all rate Tufts' undergraduate international relations program? The Fletcher School is considered quite good I think but that's for grad. How is Tufts' undergrad academic experience in general?

Hope you guys can help.
Thanks.

Hey Ignited,

I am currently running another thread devoted to Tufts life ("anything tufts"), but I can tell you that our IR program is among tops in the nation. While Fletcher is a grad school, the resources are still available for undergrads to take advantage of and the program is extremely challenging and rewarding. The major features numerous IR courses in addition to a strong language and economics requirement, and students are exposed to a terrific program. Our study abroad program is also excellent, which many studnets take advantage of, and because of Fletcher we host excellent speakers and conferences annually.

As far as general undergrad academic experience, it is incredible. I couldn't be happier. Check out the "anything tufts" thread to learn more (read my epinion!).

Hope this helps, and good luck.

Thank you gojumbos...
Could you tell me anything about the economics major there? I found out from the other thread that you're a psych major. Do you know anyone I can talk to? I would really appreciate that. Thanks.

Hey ignited-

I definitely have an e-mail of a friend I can give you. I'll PM you that now. From what I gather the econ dept is quite strong since so many students are either in IR (which has an Econ requirement) or pursue economics...but my friend can tell you much more. Good luck

Tufts is as good as they come where IR is concerned. As for Economics, I would say Tufts is decent, but not great.
