<p>Hello! Please chance me for these two schools and any other schools that are similar to them.</p>

<p>Intended Majors: Computer Science and Computer Engineering
Ethnicity: Iranian but born in USA</p>

SATII: Math 2: 750, (Taking Bio in October)</p>

<p>I go to a small - medium private school in florida. My high school does not rank, but I would say I'm in top 1/2 - 1/4 of my class. My weighted core GPA is 3.718 and weighted overall GPA is 3.833.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: Band, Chorus, Theatre, Speech & Debate, Crew.</p>

<p>Leaderships: Speech Co-Captain for 1 year and Captain for 2 years, Tenor Section Leader for 1 year, Expected Tenor Section Leader and French Horn Section Leader next year.</p>

<p>Are these schools very far reaches for me? My counselor told me I was above average SAT for Hopkins but my gpa was very low. I also was told on the Tufts tour that they don’t differentiate between ED and regular, so I think I’ll apply regular so that my first semester grades will be included in my gpa. Also, does having a relative that works at Hopkins help me?</p>

<p>What’s your problem with Carnegie Mellon or UIUC?</p>

<p>Anyhow, if you have a relative that works at JHU and none at Tufts, better ED at JHU. But JHU is a pre-med nest…</p>
