i'm heading to tufts next fall. i'm sure many of you are aware of the tufts ba/md program. you apply during the spring of sophomore year and need a certain gpa for a certain amount of science courses etc. and you are guaranteed admission to tufts school of medicine after your undergraduate years are complete.

i wanted to know if anyone has experience with this program or has heard anything about it regarding quality, specifications, admittance rate, tips for getting in, and so on. any info would be greatly appreciated!

hey i go to BC and i have been looking for the same kind of information. from what i have gathered it is not too difficult to get in. 11 people from my school applied last year and i think 9 or 10 got in and all of them had over a 3.6 gpa and some volunteer work. the people who did not get in had below a 3.6 gpa (3.5-3.6).

its really a good option if your school participates because it doesnt seem too difficult to get accepted. ill be applying next year.

that probably doesnt help at all but u hafta consider that by there stats at the very least 25% get accepted compared with 10% of regular admission and i feel that the admission rate is much higher than 25%.

um i know of someone who was in the program
i thikn there were 3 or 4 people that started out in the beginning and apparently all of them dropped out for grade or personal reasons
