Tufts Chance? Will Chance back.

Hi all-

Tufts - match
Wesleyan - ?
Wash U - ?
U of Rochester - match

You have a good shot at ivy and other top schools, why not try and apply to them.

Ha. Ivies? No-sir. Anyone else want to chance? I really do promise I’ll chance back.

Bumpin on upp

Eh it’s really hard to know about Tufts.

You certainly have the SAT scores, and I’ll assume your unofficial class rank would be pretty high.

With your ECs though, some of them seem like one-time 25 hour commitments, and that may reflect poorly. Sometimes breadth with a little depth can be worse than no breadth with a little depth. If you can show your passion for your ECs in your essays, then you should be a decent candidate.

Just based off of what you have here, I’d say mid-reach. It’s hard to know though, since I really only have standardized scores and a list of activities to go off of. If you can write well and show passion, low-reach/high match

Thanks so much! Yeah, it’s so tough to know with Tufts. But as for the extracurriculars- I only mention the “Relay for Life” ones because I think its important to just lay everything out on the table, and in my essays I go into depth about the ones I spend all year on.

Any other thoughts? (Will chance back :D)

i think that you’ll be a low reach, but you have a chance. you’re grades are consistently around a b+/a- range, but your sat’s are good enough for tufts. as someone else has stated, it looks like they’re 25 hr/week ec’s, but only for a few weeks out of the year.

Wesleyan,-match
Wash U, -high match(assuming st. louis)
Rochester,-match
Brandeis, -match
NYU, -high match
UMass,-match
GW-match

chance me:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/857536-chance-me-ill-chance-back.html

Course load could have been tougher, but those grades are pretty sweet, nonetheless. Your SAT scores are in the range, especially for EDII.

Tufts seems like a low reach.
Wesleyan- high match
WashU- reach

I’m applying to Tufts too- Maybe I’ll see you there! Best of luck.
Chances back?

Thanks so much, PM me if you want me to chance you.
I took the hardest course load I could (without taking AP math… my school just doesn’t offer many advanced classes)

Tufts - match
Wesleyan - match?
Wash U - match?
U of Rochester - match
NYU - match
UMass - match
GW - match

Bumpity Bumpp

Thanks to all who chanced me! I was just admitted ED2 to Tufts this afternoon.

I think you’ll get them all except perhaps GW, they are quite selective. Other than that, I think you are competitive in all the others and you’ve definately got a shot for GW. And Congradulations on Tufts!!
Chance me back for Wesleyan?
