Really excellent recommendations...a world-famous physisist/nun who taught HIMPT and AP Calc, my principle who has a PhD from Harvard and teaches my Bioethics Class, and my English III teachers who is a great writer and absolutely loves me.

I'd have to say my essays are really good. I wrote about being the only Jew at a Catholic school, my passion for philosophy, and my "who are you" essay is extrememly powerful. My common app essay is a personal reflection on why I chose psychology/philosophy...about a friend who I tried to help but ended up in rehab, and how I want to reconcile myself by helping others.

My interview also went awesome. I had my interviewer asking me about where he could buy quality protein...he was very interested and amazed.

So what do you think? I know it's a reach...but I really hope I get in!

ur stats are kind of low for tufts, but you may have a shot if your essay, interview, and recs are strong, and if you show you can contribute something to the class that nobody else can.

Anyway, so you do know Tufts is a real reach. However, by applying ED I, you probably are giving yourself more of a chance of getting in. At this point, all you can do is wait a week and see what the results are... Question though, are you planning on playing football at Tufts? That would help you because I know it isn't particularly easy to attract academically-qualified athletes to a DivIII school. Also, how well have you done on your APs?

I emailed them, telling them to please ignore my SATIs when they were recieved. Here's the responce:

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your application.

We will not consider SAT II scores without the SAT I. If you have taken the ACT with Writing, you can have us use that score instead of the SAT I & II.

I hope this is helpful. We wish you well in your college search.

Tufts University

Undergraduate Admissions

Yah..so that stinks for me, because I did decent on the SATIIs.
LIT 670 MI 680 MII 610

If you did well on the SAT II's, they will still see them, they just won't really use them to count for admission, but they will know that you did well on the SAT IIs.

Sorry about that MLevigne. I really am, pretty sure I was hammered when I wrote that so sorry. I was just looking for someone to vent on.

Folks here have gave you alot of good advice that I doubt I would've been able to come up with so yeah, might as well ignore me.

I sincerely hope everything works out for you and if you need some extras please PM and I'd be more than happy to help you in any way I can. Again, feel sorry about that, I'm a stain on humanity I know. But yeah, if you questions say word.
