<p>Hey whats up guys....
im a hs junior and am startin to look at colleges, and thats when i found Tufts. Tufts seems amazing, and im thinkin i may apply ED next year, but im not sure if i even have a shot. what do you think?</p>

<p>STATS:
GPA: 3.5 UW, 4.21 UW
SAT: im takin the test on saturday, but im shooting for 700's across the board. ill update it
SAT 2's: im taking US history in May, and am not sure what other one i should take
Montgomery County Schools-high ranked school system</p>

useless electives. lol</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Vice President of SGA, running for President next year, founder of the ski/snowboard club and am the president. Varsity cross country for 4 years. Varsity Swimming 3 years (next year ill be captain). Varsity Lax 2 years. I'm doing the play this year instead of lacrosse. I'm involved in class council</p>

<p>Recommendations:
My AP lang teacher has already said that he would write me an amazing recommendation, and I'm sure that another recommendation I get will be amazing.</p>

<p>*I know that my stats and stuff may not be amazing, but i just want to know if i even have a shot. If i dont, where should i appy instead?</p>

<p>Too soon to evaluate chances. Wait until you have some board scores.
Your curriculum certainly looks challenging, although your UW GPA is underwhelming.
ECs are fine.
It’s nice to say you’re shooting for 700s on boards (doesn’t everyone who applies to the most competitive schools), but it’s not terribly meaningful. If you reach that goal, you will certainly be a competitive applicant.
