How is the recruiting at tufts? especially from top firms like goldman sachs, morgan stanely, jp morgan.. or the likes? i've so far been accepted to cmu and umich, but actually like tufts more in terms of its environment and feeling. But i do want to work in the ibanking field or business field after uni, so im worrying if tufts will actually help me well in pursuing that path. Does top ibanking firms recruit at tufts? and is econ at tufts sufficient for working in this field after uni?

I'm in a similiar position to you, but I have decided to do economics at NYU because they recruit heavily there and lots of econ majors from NYU go into i-banking. In your case, I would pick UMich because the business and economics programs there are well known and I know top firms recruit from there. Tufts and CMU are great schools too, but I haven't heard of top firms recruiting from there (but of course you would need to look into this). I know if you go to the CMU business school (Tepper) and do finance, you could get into a top firm.

yeh.. im split between going to a uni where its more certain to land a job in top ibanking firms (umich and cmu) but risking not liking the environment(one a bit too small, and one too big), and going to a school where i like the campus, size, location, etc etc, but maybe not the best path to pursue my ibanking career... ugh.. im still waiting for uchicago's decision.. but i duno where it stands on my list currently..
ah! so annoying!! wouldn't have been so if im accepted to my top four choices school... : ( o well.
