Does anyone know how to get email addresses for the Class of 2010 online? I heard we were supposed to get them at Eaton during orientation. Is there any way to get one quicker for facebook?

I think we aren't going to get them for a while. For facebook I hear that you can use your high school temporarily until you get your college e-mail address.

Yea I'm using a high school one right now. But it seems as though every other college has given out their email addresses already.

I actually already have a Tufts student ID. Is there any way I could use it to (re)activate my email address online? Or do I have to wait until orientation to go to Eaton and (re)register it?

when i was a freshman we had to wait until we got to campus. have fun with tufts ahhhaha

I am waiting for the email address too, as most of my buddies have already got theirs. I think it would be best to ask TUfts itself regarding this matter

On the point, Has anyone received their full orientation packet yet? I've only received the medical forms (and, of course, the housing form that came as part of the Admissions Packet). Thanks!

no not yet

UPDATE

The Tufts Connections2010 web site is not set up and ready to go. You could register for your email account there.

EDIT: Once you register, they will give you your email address and log-in name. But I do not see the password anywhere. Does anyone know where you could obtain it and if it's the same password as on TAMS?

its the same username and password as TAMs to make the e-mail account, then once you get your email you have to create a password which is annoying because you can't use any word related to one in the dictionary!

a kid in my class did a senior project on hacking - TRUST ME, the no-dictionary-word rule is a good one to follow.

But yeah. I got my email through the new website they emailed me about, and I gave a new password for it.
