What program(s) did you all apply to? I applied for English. Felt pretty good about the supplemental Common App essays. I had a poor high school experience though.

Hi @Jigglypoof, I’ve also applied through the REAL program and we’re not old! Just experienced. I’m interested mostly in their Communications and Media Studies (CMS) minor, with likely a major in Comparative Literature. I’m a community college transfer (3.9 GPA, strong recs) going into my junior year. Good luck!

I applied through REAL as well. Computer science major, coming from community college in Boston. I am only 23, but they told me to apply through REAL due to the fact I will be 24 when classes start. I have almost a 4.0, with computer science tutoring jobs on my campus.
I am not really getting my hopes up because a fellow applicant told me they had more applicants than ever before for the REAL program. This could be false though. It is still my first choice by far.

I’m applying for child study, but I’m a bit nervous because it’s a total change of major for me (I was an anthro major previously, but I wrote about how teaching during the year off I’m currently taking helped me find my passion, elementary ed). Especially because I’m a junior applicant and so there might be some credit issues. But I thought I came through well on the Common App and my supplement, and I have a 3.75 at a well ranked LAC, so hopefully I’ve got a fighting chance. I wonder how many applicants there are this year? :0
also, are you guys applying elsewhere, or just to Tufts?
I am applying to Brandeis as well. Despite my age they wanted to take my non-custodial parents information into account. He isn’t rich or anything just frustrating because I won’t be getting any assistance from him. Tufts didn’t even ask for parent information which made life easier.
My applications were somewhat last minute. I have about four classes left before I have my associates, figured I might as well give it a shot now. If Tufts doesn’t accept me, and Brandeis is unable to give me good financial aid, I am gonna stay at community college and graduate in the fall. Might as well take the SAT or ACT, and prepare applications over the summer.

I heard they accept very few sophomore transfers
^is that true? I had heard they preferred sophomore transfers over juniors, haha. wish there was an actual source where we could see some data abt it, but oh well 8-|

Hi! I’m a current freshman applying from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a 3.8 GPA. Hoping to study Political Science, English, and possibly Peace and Justice studies. Tufts is my top choice, so I’m really hoping to get accepted. I’ve already heard back from American University and Boston University.
I don’t think anyone will hear back until they’re all released, around late May-ish. So long to wait [-O<
I believe we’re supposed to hear around May 8th-9th.
