I wanted to know, realistically, what my chances of getting into Tufts would be. Tufts is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, school and any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Stats:

School Type : Public
GPA 3.8 UW
School doesn't rank
SAT: 2220 single sitting 2250 superscored (highest were 730 M and 740 R)
ACT: 32 (34 R 33 M 34 W 27 S)

Senior Year Courseload: AB Calc, AP Econ, AP Stat, College Spanish, College Public Affairs, Concert chorale (Most prestigious vocal ensemble at my school), AP Lit, AP Bio.

Other three years: I have taken every honors or AP that fit in my schedule (almost every class was honors or AP).

Awards: George Eastman Young Leaders Award, High honors in Long Island Science Congress, Second Place at Long Island Science and Engineering Fair, United States Army Award, Semifinalist in the national Siemens competition. I am also entering Intel, so I might add Semifinalist to this soon after applying.

ECs: Captain of the Varsity Fencing team, Chair of the Cabaret Night Business Committee (we organize a massive show each year, the profits of which go towards fighting pediatric cancer), Select Jazz Choir Ensemble, Multicultural Club (all four years) and 10 years of classical Indian dance (graduating from it two years ago).

Volunteering: 150 hours at the Veteran's Association Hospital

Recommendations: One I am submitting will be from my research mentor who has worked with me for four years. This one should be strong, although I am not sure about the others.

Other: Indian female from an over represented state, environmental sciences major. My common app essay is about wanting to enter the music department with little experience (I had never had training or gone to all county as a kid), teaching myself to sight read better than most of our school then making it into chorale and the select jazz ensemble and getting a part in play.

Thanks for any input!
