Is it just me? I see a lot of threads asking for help in deciding between Tufts and another school. I see Tufts or Emory, Tufts or Northwestern, Tufts or BC, Tufts or Dartmouth.

Don't you guys want to go to Tufts 100%? Isn't that why you applied?

I don't blame them for carefully considering their choices. Not everyone wants to go to Tufts, and that's perfectly acceptable/normal. They have to make a choice that will shape their next four years.

I will be the "Tufts vs NU" guy

I applied to BUNCH of schools without visiting so that I won't have a dream school and then later get my dreams crushed

I even applied ED Princeton w/o visiting (and for someone reason fell in love with it... w/o visiting)

so then you get decisions from these schools you don't know much about, and then you realize 30 days might not be enough, and you want to get other people's opinion; hence, the reason why there are so many of those threads

also, a lot of people have dreams of some really tough schools (HYPS etc) and then they don't get in there, and then they have to figure out what to do with other schools they have gotten into who seem to be equally good and they have no idea which to pick

i think this is CC at its best, helping students make informed decisions, and getting views of diverse range of people, seeing the biases, people helping eachother etc

i don't find this surprising at all

in fact almost all school forums have "vs" threads
