Tufts or USC

I think the academics at Tufts seem better suited to your goals. You are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to attend at no cost.

Whichever school you decide to attend, please just let the other one go and don’t let it distract you from taking full advantage of your experience (but please let us know which one you chose!).

@flravvv, congrats on getting the new scholarship. You have two great choices. I already weighed in on which one I would lean towards if I were you, given what you wrote about your long term stated goals might be. It is natural to have some doubts about whatever choice you make. By nature, all schools have some pros and some cons. Rather than second guessing and worrying whether you may be giving up something, try to stay focused on the many positives of the school that you end up choosing. If that happens to be Tufts, you will be fine. If it’s USC, you can get a great education there as well. The cold weather in the winter will build some character and as you said, if you have sensitivity to the sun, it may be for the best that you chose Tufts. The four seasons will be pretty and the smaller class size, as others mentioned, plus the location would indeed fit nicely with grad school/law school on the East Coast.

It is 64 degrees in LA right now.

It is 89 degrees in Boston.

Who said Boston is cold?

And, as they say across New England, if you don’t like the weather - just wait a minute!

We will probably have a blizzard tommorrow

Thank you so much to everyone who commented  I officially committed to Tufts last night. Go Jumbos!

Although a small piece of me wishes I had chosen USC/feels like I never gave it a chance, I know Tufts was the best decision for me both academically and socially. (Plus, I flipped a coin and when USC (tails) came up, I was v hesistant)
