TUFTS or WASH-U?

I'm a senior from STL and am thinking of majoring in International Relations. I got into Tufts, WashU, GW's Elliott School of IR, and JHop but have narrowed down the list to Tufts and WashU. I really cannot decide between the two.

The pros to Tufts:
Boston is a pretty awesome city
Good IR (Fletcher School) resources
Lots of students study abroad
Global (5 Foreign Language courses required and the new Tisch school of Citizenship and Public Service)

The Pros to WashU
While I live within walking distance of the campus, I would have access to a car and already know my way around the area
More prestigious

I also love theatre and know that both schools have good programs. Could anyone compare the student populations (are they more cutthroat, more friendly, etc.) and the social scenes (parties). I am looking for a school where I can be challenged academically but where I can also let loose and have fun. Can I get some helpful advice?

Boston IS an amazing city...spending four years there of your youth would probably be a great experience.

bump up...

Seems like your pros for tufts have much more substance than the pros to WashU... Boston is amazing
