@Kigzcorp India. Not really helpful I guess.

am in kenya i donno if it helps too…@Gr4ce96 thats different

Will the decisions be emailed or sent in a letter?

I believe they are online via your TAMs account

@Kigzcorp US citizens or permenant residents are not considered “international” in any college in their admission process. In a social life, it might be different. You are a US student with international experience, so you will be considered a domestic, not international.

^^^ Sort of true. Depending on how you define “international.” If you’re an American living in Singapore, you’ll be read by me, for instance, with the rest of the students applying from Singapore. You won’t be evaluated as an American or a Singaporean, but as an American living in Singapore. In that sense, you would be defined as “international.”

In truth, however, our own definitions of what it means to be ‘international’ are a bit more nuanced than the federal government (which defines being international as @Humanities2014 does above) and, for that matter, more nuanced than most families suppose when they bring up that issues.

It’s less a binary and more of a gradient. More or less like the real world, where even straightforward issues of nationality are becoming increasingly blurry.

Hmm. But isn’t that how it’s defined in financial aid? I’ve never seen any financial aid defining US citizens outside the US as “international”. Of course, the admission process is more holistic, so the notion of “international experience” or “international” will be much more inclusive. Thanks for the great comment.

Tufts was the first school I ever visited and I love it soooooo soooo sooooooo much.

do you guys know when the decisions will come?

@infitely2014 most likely on Ivy Day, which is Thursday the 27th

@Cawledge96 Why do you think so?

thanks @cawledge96
although i hope it comes sooner with good news haha

We get notified on April Fools Day hahaaa!

Plot twist: All rejections are actually acceptances.

@Cawledge96 Have you seen my question? I was wondering where you got the clue that it will be sent on 27th, because I actually prefer getting news on 27th than April 1st. The school seemed to say “April 1st” (although I don’t remember it was “on” April 1st or “by”). It would be helpful if you can confirm me the source. Thanks.

May be Dan can elucidate…on the date…

^^@Dan… lbs

@humanities2014 It usually just comes out with all of the Ivy Leagues, which would be the 27th this year, but if Tufts says the 1st then expect the 1st.

Someone should call. Or is it too early?

As I said earlier in the past few years it has ALWAYS come out on Ivy day.
