see, i’m leaning away from brandeis becuase of the lack of engeneering…between tufts and rochester,

rochester has a kosher meal option, but its not in the main cafeteria…so its still not with the rest of the students
tufts…yes i would have to make my own food…i wouldn’t want to choose vegetarian options…

tufts has a bigger jewish community than rochester does…but just cause someones jewish doesn’t mean i’ll fit in with them or anything…

i feel like rochester is a better option, but whenever i think of the location…i shudder

blahdeblahdeblah, so you don’t like UR because of the location and you don’t like Tufts because of its lack of Kosher food. You say you don’t like Brandeis because it does not have engineering. You can’t change UR’s location and it’s unlikely Tufts will open up a Kosher kitchen soon. There also won’t be an engineering school started here at Brandeis anytime soon. However, if you come to Brandeis you will be practically guaranteed acceptance to Columbia, an Ivy.

Both Brandeis and Columbia are a better fit in terms of location. (Brandeis being near Boston and Columbia being in NYC.) Both have vibrant Jewish communities with ample Kosher food options. You will graduate in five years with two incredible degrees. Yes, I know you were not planning to spend 5 years as an undergrad, but I think that even though it’s out-of-the-box it may be the best solution.

I don’t want to sound like a salesperson so this will be my last post in this thread. You need to make up your own mind. Good luck!
