Tufts University Class of 2017 EDII

Haha me too!! I dreamt that Tufts and the rest of my schools except for my safeties rejected me. It was quite distressing.

EDIT: OH MY GOD I’M IN!!! TUFTS CLASS OF 2017 WUDDUP!

I am so sorry to those of you who didn’t get in, I promise promise promise everything happens for a reason and you will LOVE where you end up. Life has a way of working things out. It’s all about perspective :)

I’m in!! How do we go about withdrawing our other applications?

Holyyyyy!! I got in! Thanks for all the support guys! If you got in, see you there. If not, good luck! I’m sure you’re all smart enough to great into great colleges!

Does anyone know if we get any further information by mail?

How do we withdraw our other applications?
Do we just eamil each school individually or??! :S

Got in!! Has anyone got their financial aid packages and/or know how good tufts financial aid is? I’ve read they meet 100% need with about 20%loans and 80%grants

I’m wondering the same thing. I know i have to withdraw my other apps but I’m tempted not to until i know how much aid i’ll be getting.

You don’t have to withdraw other apps until you receive a financial aid package

I’m feeling pretty confident about the financial aid though considering well have time to appeal it if needed before all the funds are used up on regular decision candidates!!

If you’re waiting for your FA package, you’re fine with not withdrawing your RD apps until you’re sure that the FA works for you and your family. When you email schools to withdraw your application, be polite and gracious…you never know where the future may take you.

To withdraw, just email the schools. Here’s a sample of an email I got withdrawing from Tufts, and it’s a nicely worded, totally adequate email:

ALSO! CONGRATULATIONS AND WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY! WE LOOOOOOOOOVE YOU ED2!
