@momjasper Not at all. There are way too many applicants for each of them to be interviewed, so not everyone gets an interview. Not having one won’t hurt because adcoms know that they’re in short supply.
When are decisions expected to come out?
Last year they came out the 31st on a Thursday so I’m guessing this year it will be Thursday the 30th (aka Ivy Day yikes) but I’m not sure… anyone know for real?

Does Tufts (and other schools for that matter) send an email a few days/weeks announcing the date?

i think northwestern said in an email that they would update us with a more specific date, if that’s any help, but i’m really not sure
@ricka8 Tufts didn’t send any emails announcing the date for ED II applicants, so they might not do it at all, which personally sounds terrifying…
Is it weird to NOT get an email denying an interview? I requested one, never got one, but Tufts hasn’t sent me anything.

Okay so I looked at the RD threads from the past few years, and it seems to always come out at 3pm EST. 2019 was on the 30th, 2020 was on the 31st, so that should be a good ballpark for when the decision comes out. They announced it on their facebook/twitter about a day before it came out. Hope this helps!
Oh they do announce it before? That’s good to hear. I don’t think they did that for their EDII applicants.
Yeah they didn’t do that for ED2, I’m excited to know before the moment happens. It was scary opening the decision, ecpecially on the internet. (I got deferred that’s why I’m here) lol didn’t think it would be so nerve racking in the moment :)) :))

Hey guys! Did anyone apply to BC? I got waitlisted but now i’m worried that I won’t be accepted to Tufts everyone keeps saying its harder to get into Tufts than BC but I have so much more going for me in my Tufts application than in my BC application. I am just worried I guess… BU comes out tomorrow so I guess we will see about that when it comes :-S
