Any insight into living in Hodgdon? Is it social? How is the location? Will I be able to make friends in other dorms/ uphill dorms? Does it smell because of the dining hall in the basement? ANY insight would be incredible appreciated!

The all freshman style housing is new. Whether or not you make friends uphill is completely up to what clubs/activities you do and whether you actively look to make friends in other dorms. I’d say that it’s very possible to make friends who live all over campus, it’s just a matter of putting yourself out there. It doesn’t smell because of the dining hall, and since it’s one of the newer dorms it’s pretty nice in my opinion. Hodgdon has a really nice common room and its location is pretty convenient and relatively central to campus. I think it’s a great dorm overall and definitely one of the best you could hope for.
