So I already know that I am going to apply to Tufts ED I'm just wondering what my chances are. I'm not going to go through the whole thing but the basics are:
- 3.6 unweighted GPA, 3.7 if you don't count freshman year
- All honors classes, around 5 APs
- 710 CR, 710 Math, 650 writing, 2070 total (planning to retake)
- SAT II - 680 Biology, 690 Math II
- Extra curriculars - to sum it up, 7 seasons of sports, and lots of music and stuff.
I'm considering Claremont McKenna, Vassar, Wisconsin - Madison if Tufts doesn't work. Feel free to give more suggestions.

They look fine. To be honest with you, though, some people get into Ivy League schools and get rejected by Tufts. My friend, for example, got into Brown but not Tufts. I think Tufts really cares about the desire to learn about diversity and multiculturalism and an effort to help the world. My friend is going to Tufts next year and she travels a lot. Actually she’s taking a year off to go to South America. But if you’re going to apply early anyway, it doesn’t really matter what your chances are, although I know that you’re just wondering.

After all, it has it’s own Syndrome. How many schools can say that?

I really like the sound of Tufts’ “alternative” side approach.
