Which is better for Pre-med?

You're not going to get any good answers to a question like this.
I'd go with Gtown. Tufts if you like Boston better than DC.

But honestly, I don't think it would make a difference, ng either way really.

Both are very pre-professional schools so I don't think there's much of a difference there. Georgetown's med school and hospital are right near the undergrad campus, while Tufts' is in downtown Boston, so volunteering and research access might be a bit easier at gtown (though I will say that they were the ONLY med school I absolutely hated when I interviewed there). Really, as TMe said, city choice is probably your biggest factor.

but I heard georgetown isn't really strong in the sciences? (like its facilities are lacking)

My dad went to tufts dental... I'm trying to decide between pre-dental and pre-med... I also want to be close to home, and tufts is like 30 minutes away from my house...

bump.......

Why do you want to be that close to home?

And pick based on which city you like better, which school you see yourself fitting into better (socially, academically).

^Because I feel better that way?

Most HS grads/college freshmen (and college students in general) want and often need more space than that, after living at home all their lives. 30 minutes distance is pretty close. Your views on what you prefer may change after living at college for a few months.

you said most, which implies not all. I am in that minority. I doubt I'll notice anyway, since I'll be absorbed in campus activites, and it would be easier for me to come home if my HS has a special show or for break... Plus, my parents also want me to live closer to home in case of an "emergency"

Does the distance from DC to boston feel really far?

Looks like I chose tufts, mostly due to its having a dental school and a 7 year program
