I'm very indecisive and can not decide between attending UC San Diego, Georgia Tech, or Tufts,
to be exact, I have applied and been accepted into each schools respective engineering programs.
I understand Tufts has the lowest acceptance rate but it also has "a lower rated" engineering program. I am a resident of California so UCSD's cost is also more appealing.
If i go to Tufts I am guaranteed to be able to do track, but if I go to UCSD its a maybe and at georgia tech most likely a no. Someone please tell me advantages, disadvantages, and where you recommend.
Although the cost is not unaffordable at Tufts, my parents are skeptical if its really worth the cost. On the West coast Tufts isn't THAT(only say 3 students out of 20) well known (at least at my highschool). Therefore i'm torn between the 3, especially with Tufts lower engineering program ratings.

IMO, if there is a significant difference in cost of attendance, go to UCSD for the $$.

FYI the “rankings”, if a widely used one for undergrad engineering even exist, matters zilch, nada, zero. Talk to any MIT engineering graduate and they’ll tell you the same - They get the best jobs because of their talent and experience, not because of the MIT name.

Tufts has a quality engineering program, as well as a quality D3 track program. If you’re planning on visiting, make sure to contact Ethan Barron (head track coach) - contact info is on the team site at [TU // XC // TF - Tufts Track and Cross Country](http://gojumbos.com)
I’m a distance runner and an engineer, and a lot of the guys on the track team are engineers as well.

Disregarding that, though, it comes down to what type of school you want. You’ll have very different experiences at all three - large state school on the west coast, tech school in the south, or small liberal arts style in the northeast?
