I am seriously on the fence between these two schools.

I love Tufts because of the atmosphere and the PEOPLE (seriously, so quirky and interesting). I can totally envision myself there and the location is great (just outside Boston, so its isolated, but still convenient). The professors are accessible, the student body is extremely smart and motivated, and I like that it is a smaller school.

The problem is that I want to pursue journalism and Tufts doesn't have journalism as a major. On the other hand, Annenberg is the #2 journalism program in the country and would really offer me great exposure and journalistic opportunities. Tufts doesn't have a journalism major (only as mass communications and media as a minor, although a very popular and strong minor).

I know that ultimately, I will find my own place in whichever school I go to, but... I'm at a loss. Should I go to a school where I know I will be able to get the opportunities that a top journalism program will offer me or should I go to a school where I feel like I will fit in more? I honestly feel that journalism is my dream, but at the same time, USC is such a party school that I don't know if I will be happy there. Tufts has a thriving nerd culture that I love already.

Also, in case I DON'T pursue journalism, USC has way more majors to choose from than Tufts (academic flexibility).

SOS.
