Tuition and Room and Board for International Students

I am a senior this year from the United States and McGill is one of my top schools. I was just wondering how much a person from the U.S. can expect to pay each year to attend the university?

$15000 for arts
$20000 for science
$25000 for commerce
the room and board depends some on what you do but it’s about $13000 (which is really high but canada as a whole is more expensive than the u.s. plus you are living in a major city)

the books and stuff are the same as pretty much everywhere

as a non in-state public school though it’s cheap
all this is on their website though?

University residence is only guaranteed for 1st year students (and the vast majority of students after 1st year do not live in residence). You do not have to live in residence in first year, but if you do, the meal plan is mandatory and somewhat expensive. Most students find it cheaper to share an apartment with one or two others than to live in residence. Dorm rooms are generally between $7000 and $8000 for 8 months and the mandatory food plan is about $5200. Two-bedroom apartments tend to run about $800 to $1200 per month (so are roughly half the cost of a dorm room).
