Student Programs at the National Security Agency (NSA) - High School Student Programs
explaining the Stokes Scholarship. The NSA will pay full tuition, a salary, and a summer job with living expenses for computer majors at the college of their choice in exchange for 1 1/2 years employment for each year of tuition. It's too late for the class of 2009 to apply but something for the class of 2010 and following years. Application deadline is November 1 of junior year. If you don't mind working for the spy agency for 6 years, this is something to look into.

Wow, thanks for this! My son would probably love this. Any more info on this program?

Is it like the military, where you have to have physical requirements? My son is overweight and blind as a bat, and flat feet to boot!

But he did an NSLC National Intelligence and Security program last summer that he loved, and would probably love to do this as a career.

If you are considered a government employee, the long term benefits are great: ie, retirement, pension, health care.

More info, please, and thanks for the post?
