Tuition goes up by 3.9% for 2011-2012

Just as the title says. Tuition and fees will be increasing by 3.9%. I'm happy to hear that. That means only $191 more per semester for in-state kids than last year.

And if I use all of my work study and take out no loans, it looks like my parents will have to pay about $900 per semester for my school, so I'm basically set. :)

Seeing as how my high school tuition went up by $1000 every year I was there, I can deal with a $200 raise.

Sameeee.

If I use my entire work study, my parents are only going to have to pay $900 a semester. Even on my huge 8k scholarship at my high school, they were paying $6000 a year… I think they should like the difference in price. haha.

My parents should be happy too, seeing as I’m the one who will be responsible for the loans after graduation haha

Ah. I’m not planning on taking out any loans, unless I absolutely must.

USC gave me $12550 in grants and $3500 in work study, so I’m trying to just keep it with those two. XD
