Tuition Management System URGENT question

The deadline for tuition payment is approaching (July 15), but my family's having trouble understanding the Tuition Management System (TMS), our school's (Lawrenceville) medium of paying tuition.

I assume that the TMS has something to do with afford.com. However, are we supposed to sign up our own account there? Then what EXACTLY would we need to do? Does TMS have its own bank account to which we could transfer our payment?

Also, our chosen method is the first payment plan, which is "due July 15 and covers 60% of tuition and 100% of the medical and technology fees and tuition refund insurance premium. The balance is due December 15." We're confused because there's no explicit reference to TMS regarding this plan.

I would really appreciate it if any current Lawrenceville parents/students, or anyone who has had experience with TMS, could guide us through this system.

Thanks in advance! :)

I have used TMS to pay my graduate school tuition. The payments are debited monthly from your bank account. It appears that Lawrenceville only uses TMS for those wishing to pay the tuition in equal payments over 9 months.

We used TMS for hs payments. Afford.com is the same. Go to the site and you’ll see the TMS logo. Call them- in my experience, they are very helpful. Ime, you set up an account, pay an initial fee, then you’re ready to go. Some years, we used the automatic payment draft (debit) from our bank account; other years, we sent the check or paid by phone. Never had a problem.

I just used afford.com which is TMS to pay my daughter’s tuition. I’m also using the 60/40 plan for Lawrenceville. You should have received an email and mailing from TMS with an account #. Go to afford.com and register with that # and then you can pay electronically.
