I made a terrible choice and paid my tuition last minute (well yesterday).
My barc account still says I owe them money.
Since it was due today at 4pm, would the school charge me a late fee and drop my classes?
If you paid at the last minute (yesterday), then it might take a day or two for their computer system to catch up.
In general it is better to get some sort of receipt. Hold onto it so that if someone goofed up you can show them the receipt. However, it is highly likely for systems to be a bit slow, and not likely for systems to completely miss the fact that you paid.
